the most perfect fish and chips in the known universe. plus you can bring your dog and sit by the river.

I wanted to make a special visit due to the reviews I read on Yelp but it just didn't meet the expectations.
I do want to say that the location is a tiny trailer behind a little antique store that I thought might be a clue that it was a hidden treasure. The weather was bad and the only place to sit is on the outside deck of the antique store where the trailer is parked. It's just a deck with some plastic chairs and not an area really designated for eating/dining.
The person taking the orders was very friendly and helpful. We were almost not able to make the order because the POS system is set up with the store WiFi and it just wouldn't connect maybe due to the weather. We finally got our Fish & Chip order in.
Frozen chips, small, very small, pieces of fish and even after eating, we were still hungry.

Honestly, this is some of the best
Fish & chips I have ever eaten!! I recently returned from Ireland and London where I searched for good fish and chips, thinking if you can't get good fish & chips here .....then where? ? Nehalem OR that's where!! Fresh ling cod lightly breaded and deep fried , crispy fresh chips with a side of slaw, delicious!! I will return! -

A food cart behind another restaurant in Nehalem, OR. The fish and chips are beer batter which is not my thing....but everyone else raved about them. I had the pulled pork tacos which were decent but a little sweet for me. The food truck sits on the estuary of the Nehalem river.
A little more shade in the summer would be nice but overall a worthy stop. -

Great fish and chips in Manzanita! We called it in from Wheeler and it was just about ready by the time we got to the place. Street parking. Restaurant is in the back.
